Scented Ice Flies - New Secret Weapon?

I kept rummaging through my jig box trying to find “the one.” At this point I was sick of tying on new knots and was convinced that there wasn’t anything that would get the fish to open their mouths that day on the ice. So, I did what any good, gen Z fisherman does. I reclined back in my ice shack and scrolled the internet, shopping for the silver bullet that would turn my luck around. At least it would on my next trip after Fish USA delivers the package.

We’ve all been there, looking for the next latest and greatest jig. Something that makes us look like the world’s greatest next to our buddy who isn’t catching. It’s an endless pursuit sometimes.
It certainly seems that the ice jig market copycats itself. Whatever is flying off the shelves one season, is replicated by all the major players the next. I think this is a great thing though! Driving innovation in the scene keeps me thinking too. Although half of my ideas never see the light of day. Some, just seem to stick in my head long enough to make it through the trials of prototyping, and eventually come to market.
Introducing the Stink Bug Ice Fly! Crafted with absorbent chenille and a loop tail, this thing will hang on to scent until the fish stop biting. Built on the same VMC hook with a heavy tungsten bead as the rest of my ice fly lineup, it won’t let you down. Currently shipping in the fish attracting, and human odor masking, anise scent. I thought it struck a good balance between effectiveness, and user experience. Because who wants their fingers stinking like fish guts all day anyway.
Like most of my products, the color combo is entirely up to you! I tie these per order, so select the bead and body color combo that works best on YOUR waters!
